FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions and Regulations at Lake Placid Village
Village
Check in: Check in is from 4 p.m. onwards. Should you arrive earlier, you can start your holiday immediately by going to the beach, eating at the restaurant or stopping at the bar. So make sure to pack a bag with swimwear and towels from home so you can immediately enjoy our sea!
Check out: Check-out is no later than 10 a.m.
Parking: As soon as you arrive, you can park your car in the car park, once you are assigned your accommodation unit you can drive up to it to easily unload your luggage and then return the car to the car park. During your stay, for the safety of everyone and especially children, cars are not allowed to circulate in the village area. The car park is located in a designated area.
Where is the car park located? The car park is located in a different area but not far from the village area and occupies two shores around the lake.
How does the parking gate work? The gate to the car park is always closed, except on Saturdays (arrival and departure day). During the week, you can enter and exit the car park at will by using a special app that acts as a remote control.
Pedestrian gate: For the safety of the little ones, the pedestrian gate is always closed; a special app to open it will be provided to you at check-in.
What will I find inside my accommodation? The accommodation is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer compartment, LCD TV, bathroom with shower, pillows, air conditioning, veranda with private barbecue, broom, dustpan, bucket, mocho, clothesline, waste collection containers, and basin.
What shall I not find? It does not include tablecloths and dishcloths, toilet paper, charcoal and barbecue equipment, hairdryers, soaps, crockery and pots and pans, rubbish bags and anything not mentioned in the preceding question.
Is the kitchen equipped? No, in line with anti-covid regulations we have deemed it safer to remove crockery and cookware from our homes. If you wish, you can rent a sanitised kitchen kit.
What does the kitchen kit include? The kitchen kit includes: 6 soup plates, 6 flat plates, 6 forks, 6 spoons, 6 knives, 6 teaspoons, 6 cups, 5 mugs, 6 glasses, 1 mocha, 2 salad bowls, 1 pot for boiling water, 2 frying pans, 1 pot for sauce, 1 chopping board, 1 corkscrew, 1 bread knife, set of 3 ladles, 1 trivet, 1 colander. The rental charge is € 20.00 one-off.
Is there a bidet? There is a bidet in Mobile Home Maya.
How big is the fridge? In the Mobile Home Miriam, the refrigerator is 100 litres, in the Mobile Home Maya the refrigerator is standard size column-style.
Are there mosquito nets on the windows? Yes, all the windows of the mobile homes have mosquito nets.
Is there any animation? Yes, animation is present, a club card is not necessary.
Are sun loungers and umbrella included? Yes, beach service (1 umbrella and 2 loungers) is included in each rate
Can I choose which position to have my umbrella in? Of course, if you let us know that you would like an umbrella in a specific row, a 15% discount on the various surcharges is available for you.
How are the umbrellas allocated? At the time of booking, if you have not requested an umbrella in a specific row (see question above), you will be allocated an umbrella in a random position that will be yours for the duration of your stay. A few weeks before your arrival, we will contact you to inform you of the position of your umbrella and if we have alternative positions available we will inform you and you may decide to purchase the fixed umbrella in the row you prefer.

Are there mosquito nets on the windows? Yes, all the windows of the mobile homes have mosquito nets.
Is there any animation? Yes, animation is present, a club card is not necessary.
Are sun loungers and umbrella included? Yes, beach service (1 umbrella and 2 loungers) is included in each rate
Can I choose which position to have my umbrella in? Of course, if you let us know that you would like an umbrella in a specific row, a 15% discount on the various surcharges is available for you.
How are the umbrellas allocated? At the time of booking, if you have not requested an umbrella in a specific row (see question above), you will be allocated an umbrella in a random position that will be yours for the duration of your stay. Spiaggia
Il villaggio è lontano dal mare? No, siamo direttamente sul mare, con accesso diretto alla spiaggia senza attraversare la strada. Basta fare una passeggiata all'interno del villaggio!
Lettini e ombrellone sono inclusi? Si, in ogni tariffa è incluso il servizio spiaggia (1 ombrellone e 2 lettini)
Posso scegliere in che posizione avere il mio ombrellone? Certo, se alla prenotazione ci comunicherai di volere un ombrellone in una specifica fila per te é riservato uno sconto del 15% sui vari supplementi
Come vengono assegnati gli ombrelloni? Gli ombrelloni vengono assegnati dalla direzione in base alle esigenze organizzative, in ogni preventivo è sempre compreso un ombrellone e due lettini.
Per avere la certezza di capitare in una specifica fila è previsto un supplemento.
La prima mattina dopo il tuo check in, in spiaggia, il nostro steward ti indicherá il tuo ombrellone. che rimarrà lo stesso per tutta la settimana.
Posso avere sempre lo stesso ombrellone? Si, è possibile scegliere di avere l’ombrellone con posizione fissa. Verrà richiesto un supplemento in base alla fila scelta. Qualora il tuo soggiorno fosse più lungo di una settimana e non avessi opzionato il tuo ombrellone in fase di prenotazione, al cambio della settimana potrebbe corrispondere un cambio di ombrellone (anche in file posteriori rispetto a quelle dove eri gia posizionato)

Pet Friendly
If my furry companion has to go to the bathroom as soon as I arrive or during my stay, what do I do? There is a dog area in our car park where you can take your friend to do his business. If you know it is time for him to go to the toilet, please try to avoid the places in front of the reception, bar, park and mobile home. Should an unforeseen incident occur, it is not serious, but in accordance with civilised standards, dog waste must always be collected and thrown in the appropriate bins.
Where can I take my four-legged companion in the village? Your four-legged companion is welcome at our property. He can follow you on a leash in all areas of the village including the bar and restaurant, he can stay free in our dog area, in the dog agility park dedicated to him as well as in the outdoor enclosure of your MH. He can also follow you to the beach, in the specially equipped bau beach where you can also enjoy the first rows of umbrellas. (NOVELTY 2022).
Can the dog bathe in the lake? And in the sea? In our dog, agility park there is a platform that allows your pet to enter and exit the water with ease. However, we would like to point out that swimming in a lake is considerably more difficult than swimming in the sea and that our lake is 7 metres deep and has no steep banks. At the sea, your friend can enter the water in accordance with the annual regulations of our municipality.
What does it cost to bring a dog along? In accommodations specifically intended for pets, the first dog is always included, from the second dog onwards there is a surcharge of € 42.00 per week per dog.
What does it cost to bring a cat along? For a cat, the cost is € 21.00 per week per cat.
Is there animation for dogs? Yes, during your stay there will be free sessions with experienced dog trainers who will help you and your dog learn new things about each other.
Walks for owner/dog companionship: The same experts will propose, for a fee, six-legged walks in the Abruzzo hinterland, to explore the beauty of our territory with your furry pal.

Is the lake fenced off? Yes, our lake is fenced off.
Is it possible to fish in the lake? No, for the sake of our beloved fish, we no longer allow fishing.
Is the lake freshwater or saltwater? This is a freshwater lake.
What kind of animals are there? Carp, perch, amur, blackbass, catfish as well as normal lake fauna (turtles, frogs, toads) are present.
Can you swim in the lake? No.
Are there mosquitoes? No, we regularly carry out mosquito treatment and during the winter season, we treat the greenery and the water surface. We would like to point out that this treatment is based on the weight of the mosquito, so it is not harmful to creatures that weigh more than them.
What should I do if a mosquito treatment is carried out during my stay? We notify all our guests the day before. We carry out the treatment from 9 a.m. onwards; it lasts about a couple of hours. As a precaution, we advise you to take your towels and personal belongings inside, as well as the pet bowls of any furry guests, and to go to the beach or have the car drive by with the treatment and wait 10 minutes before going outside. Please note that the treatment is in no way harmful.
Is the treatment dangerous for my children or my dog? No, but the recommended guidelines should be followed.
Is the environment humid? The environment is neither excessively dry nor excessively humid; the brackish air from our sea balances everything out perfectly. Our small ecosystem allows us to always be 1-2 degrees below the normal temperature.
Is it possible to fish in the lake? No, for the sake of our beloved fish, we no longer allow fishing.

At what times does breakfast take place and what does it include? Breakfast can be taken from 8 a.m. in our lake-view dining room without any time limits. If you feel very lazy, let us know what to set aside for you. The breakfast is Italian, so you can choose from croissants, toast, Kellogg's, jam, butter, chocolate, cappuccino, espresso, milk, juice, yoghurt, fruit, etc. If you have any special requests, let us know and we will try to accommodate you as far as possible.
What are the times for lunch and dinner? Lunchtime is from 12.30 p.m. to 1.45 p.m. - Dinnertime is from 7.30 p.m. to 8.45 p.m. You can also choose takeaway for lunch at 12.30 p.m. and dinner at 7.30 p.m.
Where will be eaten? We eat in our lake-view dining room. We also have a balcony overlooking the lake for romantic meals for 2 or maximum 3 people. We do not accept prams, high chairs or pushchairs.

In the immediate vicinity, we have a baker, pharmacy, post office, tobacconist and minimarket. On Sundays and Thursdays, there is a village market within walking distance.
How to reach us: If arriving by car, we are about 4 km from the Città Sant'Angelo-Pescara Nord motorway exit – just follow the signs for Silvi Marina.
If arriving by train, the main station is Pescara, from there you can take a taxi, train or bus to Silvi Marina, we are 5 km from the train station in Silvi and 1 km from the nearest bus stop. The nearest airport is 16.5 km away and the easiest way to reach us from there is by taxi.
